- How do I know if my Honda® Pioneer dual battery kit is working?To check if your Honda Pioneer dual battery isolator is working, use a multimeter to measure voltage. The auxiliary battery should charge at 13.5–14.5V when the engine runs and disconnect when off. Listen for a relay click, inspect wiring for corrosion or loose connections, and test the manual override if available. If the auxiliary battery doesn’t charge or remains connected when off, the isolator may need repair or replacement.

Fantastic item with easy-to-follow directions. Some say the green volt meter is too bright, but I prefer it over the blue. All supplied stakeons have heat shrink on them, and I placed them on a 2015 ranger crew with plenty of wiring. Only time will tell how long it will last, but so far so good.

After reading various testimonials, I purchased this for my Honda 1000-5. Product arrived swiftly and was properly packed. Installation is simple and comes with clear instructions, however it does take some time. I used the Velcro that came with it to attach mine to the top of my winch relay, and it works great. Mounting my battery, stinger relay, fuse box, bus bars, and True Dual battery isolator kit took a couple of days. Everything went nicely. I will continue to do business with them. This was simple to install, and the gauges let you know when it’s operating. Keep the directions handy because it connects a little differently than you may expect. I wish they would make the gauges the same color instead of Blue and Green. For my 2017 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 deluxe, I used this.

I purchased this after reading various reviews for the Honda 1000-5.
Merchandise arrived swiftly and was properly wrapped. Although there are clear instructions included, installation is not difficult and does require some time.
I used the included Velcro to mount mine on top of my winch relay, and it held securely.
My battery, stinger relay, fuse box, bus bars, and Tru Dual installation took me a few days. All went well. I assumed my relay was broken, so I called the business, and a live person took my call.
Very kind and patiently guided me through the issue, which was my responsibility because of a poor ground. They fixed me up and had me moving after about five minutes. I’ll do business with them once more.

My 2021 Honda Pioneer 1000 M3D now has a larger second battery to power all of its accessories, including my CB radio, LED light bars, winch, and AC inverter. I selected this UTV battery isolator so that my starting battery wouldn’t run out and it would stay charged. Everything is going well so far! Its size and mounting choices are appealing to me. Additionally, by attaching a wire from the starting circuit, it can detach when it is starting.

My Honda Pioneer battery problem was resolved. For the air bag system, I installed two AGM batteries. There is no flickering of the voltage when the compressor is engaged. There is always a full charge on the batteries. The only issue is the price. It is a little expensive compared to other universal battery isolators.

Overall, an excellent collection of parts. The 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 does not have a factory-installed central ground stud, and the negative lead cannot reach between the batteries. It requires about three more inches to be perfect. Be prepared to construct a longer one with this model.
